Educational use only

ER 101 is an education and quick-reference tool for registered healthcare professionals, and for students working under supervision. It is not medical advice, not a protocol, not a medical device, and not a substitute for your local policy, the BNF, your trust's IV guide, a prescription, or senior clinical judgement. Always check doses against the prescription and your local guidance before giving any medicine.

Clinical review

Each drug card and quick reference shows its review status in the app. Content is clinically authored and reviewed by Rodnie Oro, a cardiac cath lab nurse. Cards marked "Pharmacist review pending" have not yet been independently checked by a pharmacist. Each card names its source, and guidance can change after a card was written.

Calculators

The calculators use fixed formulas, which are shown on screen. They do not use AI. You are responsible for the numbers you enter and for checking every result before acting on it.

Licence

Subject to these terms and the Apple App Store's terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control. You must not reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or present the app as clinical software, a medical device, or an official hospital protocol.

All content, diagrams, quiz material, trademarks and other materials in the app remain the intellectual property of Golden Shutter Ltd (or its licensors). You may not copy them out of the app for commercial use without permission.

Price

ER 101 is currently free. If paid features are added later, prices and terms will be shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy, and these terms will be updated.

Content accuracy and limitation of liability

Content is written in good faith from the sources named on each card. Clinical practice, products and local policies change, and we do not warrant that every detail is complete, current or right for your setting.

To the fullest extent permitted by the law of England and Wales, Rodnie Oro, Golden Shutter Ltd and its directors are not liable for any loss, injury or clinical decision arising from use of, or reliance on, the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Privacy

How the app handles information is described in the ER 101 Privacy Policy at rodnieoro.com/er-101-privacy-policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in another country you may also have rights to bring claims in your local courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
