OR 101 is published by Rodnie Oro ("I", "me"). This policy explains how the OR 101 iPhone app handles your information.

The short version

OR 101 does not collect any personal data, store it on a server or share it. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

Information that stays on your device

Anything you add yourself is saved only on your iPhone, and I cannot see it. That includes your optional name, notes, kit lists, preference cards, CPD log entries, quiz progress and settings.

Camera and photos

You can take a photo, or pick one from your library, for a note or an instrument card. OR 101 saves a copy inside the app on your iPhone.

  • Photos are never uploaded anywhere.
  • They are left out of device backups, so they are deleted if you delete the app.
  • OR 101 only asks for camera access when you tap Take photo, and you can turn it off at any time in iOS Settings.
  • When you pick from your library, OR 101 uses the iOS photo picker and does not get access to the rest of your library.

Free trial and purchases

Apple handles the 7-day free trial, OR 101 Pro Yearly and the Lifetime unlock entirely, through the App Store.

  • Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether a trial or purchase is active on your Apple Account.
  • I don't receive your name, email address, payment details or Apple Account details.
  • To manage or cancel a subscription, go to iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.

Sharing

When you use Share, for example to export a kit list or your CPD log as a PDF, the file goes through the standard iOS share sheet. It goes only where you choose to send it.

Network

OR 101 works fully offline. It never connects to a server of mine or to any third-party service. The only network use is Apple's App Store checks for the trial and purchases.

Children

OR 101 is for adults who are training or working in healthcare. It is not directed at children.

Deleting your data

You can delete items in the app, or delete the app to remove everything it has stored. Purchases stay on your Apple Account and can be restored.

Changes

If this policy changes, I will update this page and the date above.
